The
Super Mom complex is an interesting
phenomenon that inflicts innocent woman in a magnitude. It targets those who are prone to sweep, mop, bake cookies, wash windows, sew clothes, make bread from
scratch - all while home schooling their children who are groomed perfectly and have
impeccable manners. Before I say anymore, I would feel
remissed to not mention that I don't believe there is anything wrong with any
ONE of the mentioned
chores of a
Super Mom. But all of the chores at once? While wearing Prada/Gucci/whatever? Come on
Super Mom - what is your problem?
(Respectfully and with a smile.) Or more appropriately, are
Super Moms real - do they
really exist? What drives the female species to believe they must '
do it all'? Career, motherhood, interior designer, chef, teacher...
**Confession time - News Alert**
There are MANY days that I do not make it out of my pajamas. There are MANY days that my kids eat peanut butter and jam sandwiches for dinner. There are MANY days that a load of laundry must be re-washed because I have left it in the machine and it i now stinky.
I am human. I am only one woman. My kids are happy and healthy. I may not be a Super Mom but I am a Super Woman!
